Type of repair whereby, through simple and makeshift procedures, an item of equipment is given back its capability to participate in the next combat phase or action. In peacetime, this type of repair is forbidden. (FRA); Repair usually done to ensure protection of the disabled equipment. It consists in quickly putting it back in partial or degraded working order ability to move, be transported or towed. It can be done in peacetime if it follows standard regulations. (FRA) |
