That point in time and space where the balance of strength between opponents is reversed, whatever their size or type of combat action. In the offense, the culminating point is the point in time and space where the attacker's effective combat power no longer exceeds that of the defender. In the defense, the culminating point is reached when the defender is no longer able to defend and counterattack.
