2009 m. gruodžio 1 d. įsigaliojus Lisabonos sutarčiai, Europos Sąjunga pakeitė Europos bendriją ir ją perėmė ir nuo tos datos naudojasi visomis Europos bendrijos teisėmis ir perima visas jos pareigas. Todėl nuorodos į "Europos bendriją" arba ,,Bendriją" Susitarimo / … tekste atitinkamai skaitomos kaip nuorodos į "Europos Sąjungą" arba ,,Sąjungą".
