mil., logist.	Maintenance is organized in three levels in France and four in the United Kingdom and NATO, depending mainly on economic and/or time criteria. These are levels of maintenance one and two, level of maintenance three and level of maintenance four. Their extent increases proportionally with the levels of competence and equipment required, as well as with the foreseeable intervention time and the amount of available spares. An organic level of maintenance is assigned technical interventions corresponding to its actual capabilities.
