good writing! engages the reader ... the point there (and it is a point immediately recognized by anyone who has done a research at least once in their life) is that both of these things are truly great:
1. reaching 100% (n-130) of the required events
2. [passing of] 36 months ... following enrollment of the last subject

now, which one is greater? that's clearly up to the reader to decide! :P
