Non-permanent multi-purpose naval force, with a strength ranging from a group of ships to an aircraft carrier battle group with an amphibious capability. Its command structure, which does not include a headquarters, is organized in two levels: 1. a force commander, located on land, in charge of the planning and training; 2. a tactical commander aboard a ship provided by the country responsible for the operation of the maritime force itself.
