Adjective used to describe activities, operations and organizations, in which elements of more than one nation participate
multinational brigade
A tactical military unit comprising soldiers from more than one troop-contributing nation. NATO typically provides the framework nation, from whose forces the headquarters staff, including the brigade commander, are drawn. The framework nation conducts primary logistics coordination and provides a significant share of operational manning. Other troop-contributing nations provide forces to form subordinate elements.
