Subject: OFF - Charles and Camilla Camilla's latest no-show

Another royal do, another no show for Prince Charles's bride-in-waiting.Camilla Parker Bowles stayed at home once again planning her wedding, missing out on the opportunity to be seen in public with her prospective in-laws.
The latest occasion to take place without Camilla was at the Italian ambassador's residence. Prince Charles went to the high-profile function alone.
Even Hugh Grant and Jemima Khan went as a couple - and they are not even engaged. Instead
Charles had the consolation of getting to kiss his mother and father. Camilla had been widely tipped to attend the function - the Italian press was briefed to expect her - so her absence once more will raise eyebrows already arched high by mishaps that have marred the wedding on 8 April.
On Tuesday night she was absent from a state function at Buckingham Palace, hosted by the Queen, in honour of Italy's president. Last night was the return banquet.
Time is now running out for Camilla and the Queen to be seen in public before the wedding although they plan to meet in private to discuss the arrangements.
